Description
PCR Super Master mix contains Taq plus DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, and optimized buffer and the blue dye. This Taq Master Mix is provided at 2x concentration and used at 1x concentration by adding template, primer, and H2O. The Super mix allows for the amplification of long templates, up to 10kb, with high fidelity. Generate a mixture of blunt ends and single base (A) 3' overhang. The products can be used for direct T/A cloning, but its efficiency is not as high as PCR products amplified with Taq polymerase alone.
Quality Control
This product has passed the following quality control assays: functional absence of double- and single-stranded endonuclease activity; >90% homogeneous by SDS gel electrophoresis. Each lot of Taq plus DNA Polymerase is assayed for amplification from as little as 10 ng of human genomic DNA.
